Last night, the Dolphins took a trip to New Orleans, and the result was a loss. The Saints were able to keep their undefeated record, advancing to 4-0.

Drew Brees, Saints quarterback, had a great night. He was 30-39, with 413 yards and 4 touchdowns. His offense was tough to stop, and the Dolphins’ offense was the opposite. Miami’s quarterback, Ryan Tannehill, had an off game. He threw three interceptions and only one touchdown pass.

In the Saints’ backfield, Khiry Robinson, Darren Sproles, and Pierre Thomas switched off. Even though Robinson had the most carries and the most yards, it was Sproles who scored New Orleans’ only rushing touchdown. Behind Tannehill, Lamar Miller had the majority of the rushing yards and a touchdown. Tannehill himself had the second most rushing yards, with four rushes for 48 yards.

The defenses of each team were making the differences in the game. The Dolphins’ defense was overpowered by the powerful Saints’ offense. On the other side, the Saint’s defense was very effective. The Saints sacked Tannehill four times and intercepted his passes twice, making it difficult for Miami to move the ball. As a result, the Dolphins were only able to score seventeen points in the game.

The final score of the game was 38-17 Saints. Next week, the Saints go to Chicago to play the Bears, and the Dolphins play the Ravens at home.
