Boys Lacrosse Team Defeats Frederick 18-6
by Alec Parker
It was a rainy day April 14th when the boys lacrosse team crushed Frederick 18-6 at Walkersville High School. Patrick Cleveland had 6 goals and Zephen Harnish had 5 goals. The team scored 7 goals in the first quarter.
Tyray Ngoh (Senior) said “I think they did really well; they kicked their butts.”
Megan Wells (Sophomore) responded with “They killed, and had some good shots.” Also Robert Kirkwood (Junior) said “We dominated, but still need improvement.”
Then I’d interviewed Christian Isanogle (Sophomore) and he replied with “I thought they did good and teamwork was really clicking.” Jack Chavez (Sophomore) said “We played a developing team, and they didn’t come out, and we did our jobs.”
The final two players I’d interviewed were Zephan Harnish, and Brad Wolfe. When I asked Zephan Harnish (Senior) how his team did, he responded with “We played as a team, and executed our offensive effort.” Brad Wolfe (Senior), said “All a team effort — clicked on offense and defense.”
At the end Walkersville walked out with the home win. Some next games to look out for are against Middletown Away, and Oakdale Home.
