Brendan Cassels is a very interesting figure at WHS. Hey has been a part of various sports like football, track and field, wrestling, and more. He is also apart of NHS and chess club. He is a very funny sarcastic person that always has a positive outlook on things even when the glass is empty.

Q:  What do you do when you have free time?

A: I like sleep and eat and hang out with friends. Also a good game of putt putt is always fun.

Q: What kind of video games do you like to play?

A: Nothing but the classics. You see me playing Pacman, asteroids and that’s about it.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: I really enjoy a nice biscuit with some butter.

Q: Where could we find you at when you’re hungry?

A: You can always find me at McDonalds. Across the street from Pizza Hut. I might be there, too, but I’m definitely McDonald’s a lot of the time.

Q: What was your favorite sport throughout high school?

A:  Definitely football. I just like how the team can come together and really support each other.

Q: How did you like your throwing this year?

A: Throwing was amazing. We had a new coach, we lifted a lot, and it was really exciting. I had a great time.

Q: If you could change one thing in your high school career what would it be?

A: I wouldn’t change anything. Wouldn’t change it for the world.

Q: Are you glad you left lacrosse for track?

A: I’m so excited that I quit lacrosse. I think it really prevented me from getting injured and it was a good time to get into the weight room and think about what I need to do.

Q: Why did you choose to go to Towson?

A: They have some good food, and a great football team.

Q: What are you majoring in?

A: Sports management.

Q: Would you like to become a coach after college?

A: I think coaching at any level would be a nice goal. I think it is something I will enjoy and something I plan to do.

Q: What are benching and squatting these days

A: I’m benching about 350 and squatting 525. I’m trying to break some school records and I’m getting excited.

Q: Would you like to give any shout outs to anyone?

A: Shoutouts go to Oprah Winfrey and Jesus. They have always been there for me.
