San Andreas an Exciting and Explosive Film

by Wolfgang Sonne

On Friday May 29th, highly anticipated blockbuster movie San Andreas was released into theaters nationwide.

This movie’s plot was based upon the scenario of complete and total disruptance along the San Andreas fault, which runs directly up the spine of California.

San Andreas features a cast of very skilled actors and actresses, with lead role being played by Dwayne Johnson. Dwayne plays a middle aged man named Ray who is a divorced father that works as a disaster rescue pilot in southern California.

The movie opens up with an intriguing scene of Ray and his helicopter crew saving a teenage driver who is stranded in her mangled car that dangles over a huge cliff. We are then introduced to Ray’s daughter Blake (Alexandra Daddario), who lives with her mother Emma (Carla Gugino) and step-father Daniel (Ioan Gruffudd).

San Andreas is probably one of the best movies that I’ve seen when it comes to digital screen play. The graphics that this movie features is phenomenal. There are plenty of crashing buildings, explosions and other eye catching animations.

If you are someone who loves action packed/thriller movies than this is a must see for you. The characters fit the storyline perfectly, to go along with the tremendous screenplay and animations.
All in all I would rate this movie an eight out of ten. Many people did not like it but I think that it was really well written and directed.
