ABC’s 25 Days of Christmas Has Movies and Specials for Everyone In the Holiday Spirit
by Molly Lewing
It’s almost December, which means people are getting in the holiday spirit. Most TV channels do something special for the holidays, but none quite like ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas. Recently they released their schedule and people are getting very excited.
ABC Family is coming in with full force on December 1st, starting their annual tradition with Disney’s A Christmas Carol, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas, The Polar Express, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and so many more. Many families tune in to watch classics and some original shows. One example of an original show was Disney’s Prep and Landing.
Children will enjoy a variety of live action and animated movies, short films, and more. Sophomore Felicity Poulin said, “Eating popcorn and drinking hot chocolate while watching Christmas movies is my favorite part of the year.”
Waking up early? No problem! All of the Santa Clause movies will be shown along with the Charlie Brown, all of the Home Alone movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and many more classic Christmas movies.
One thing people have noticed is that movies are repeated a lot which is to be expected because there are only so many Christmas movies. If your favorite movie is going to be repeated a lot that is good for you right? Some of the most repeated movies are; Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas, Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas, Elf, The Polar Express, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, and a few more but those are great movies!
Sophomore Nora Johnston said, “I like Christmas movies, and ABC Family has really good ones.”
ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas is a great way to spend time with your family and get in the holiday spirit at the same time!
Freshman Molly Breeden said, “You can ABC Family and chill!” You have your choice of romantic holiday movies or funny movies like the Jim Carrey version of The Grinch. If you ever need a break from your family this holiday, make sure you tune into ABC Family starting December 1st!
