Cleveland Cavaliers Look Unbeatable in the Eastern Conference

by Kyle Bilder

With the NBA series in the west being neck and neck with the favored reigning champions the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder, find out how the east is doing with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors as well as how your classmates feel.

Senior Joe Beck said “ The Cavs will not lose a game until they get to the finals. No one in the east can match even with the size and shooting ability of the Cavs. Detroit and Atlanta stopped them on the inside and the Cavs broke playoff records for three pointers in a game. The Raptors are trying to stop on the outside and giving them the easy shots and LeBron is killing it down low. They got the brooms and they’re gonna keep going until they meet someone from the west.” The record that Beck had mentioned was the 3- Point record for a single postseason game with 25 three pointers.

Senior Jarvis Cain mentioned “ I think LeBron is too hungry for a ring and with the help of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love and the rest of the team they will easily advance onto the final round. Not only have the Big 3 been putting up good number but the Cavaliers have a very strong bench as well as a great coach.”

Senior Chadwick Baulig also said “ Toronto isn’t a team with much playoff experience, they do not have the all star caliber players to compete with Cleveland’s. The Cavs also have a very deep bench where this one of Toronto’s weakest spots. The Cavaliers are going to win the series and the championship, neither the Thunder nor The Warriors are capable of beating them.”
