October Fundraisers Will Help School Clubs and Get You Some Great Stuff

During the month of October, Walkersville High School we be hosting a handful of fundraisers. Below is a list of Fundraisers with a contact in the school building as well.

Band Boosters- October 3rd-17th

Support the band with the Schultz Sub Sale by purchasing some yummy subs!

Drama Club and the Spring Production- October 1st-November 1st

Support Walkersville High School Theatre with Hadley Farm Cinnamon Rolls! Or, support theatre with purchasing a Christmas wreath! Can you believe Christmas is so soon?

Boys and Girls Basketball- October 9th

Walkersville’s Boys and Girls Basketball is hosting a golf tournament and “Golf Ball Drop” on October 9th. Be sure to be there!

FFA- October 1st-13th

Support the FFA by purchasing their beautiful mums this season! The price ranges from $6.00 each or five mums for $28.

Football Games- (Raffle at Home: October 6th, October 20th, and October 27th) (Brick Raffle at Home: October 6th and October 20th)

Walkersville Football is introducing “Raffle at Home” and “Brick Raffle at Home.” Support the Walkersville Football Games by purchasing a raffle ticket at any of the upcoming football games.

Last but definitely not least, the Claire’s Gourmet Fundraiser is back for both the junior and senior class! Junior and seniors can earn enough sales to receive a free Prom ticket for 2018.

Junior and Senior Class- Claire’s Gourmet- October 2nd-23rd

Enjoy tons of yummy products ranging from “Elegant Desserts” like old fashioned coffee cake or strawberry smoothie cheesecake to “Pizza & More” like Cheese Calzonettes and mozzarella sticks, to finally the “Cookies & Treats” catalog, items such as twisted soft pretzels, an assortment of cookies and a pumpkin roll! Everything must be turned in by October 23rd. Delivery Date for the products will be November 13th.

Take advantage of all these fundraisers. Get the goodies you want all for a great cause, supporting Walkersville High School, it’s clubs, and students! Also, don’t miss out on “Career Night” hosted by the Maryland State Police Thursday, October 5th from 5-9pm. This event is about recruitment for career fields in National Security, Public Safety, and Emergency Services. “Career Night” will  be located at the Frederick County Law Enforcement Center (110 Airport Drive East Frederick MD 21701).
