On November 27, 2017 Prince Harry from England proposed to Meghan Markle from Los Angeles. Harry and Markle were dating for 12 months. Both in love with each other, they’re always busy with work, but they still managed to get together. They love to go on dates.

It all started off on July 2016 where they were set on a blind date on October of 2016 where they confirmed they together. Everyone was excited about the news and welcomed Markle to England.

The proposal began when they were “roasting a chicken,” Markle said. [1] Harry leaned down on a knee and told her how he felt about her. Markle didn’t let Harry finish his sentence, interrupting him with the word “yes.” He was waiting for that exact answer so that he can put on the ring on her finger. Markle said, “It was so sweet and natural and very romantic.” [1] Harry said he caught her by surprise; no one saw it coming. They wanted the proposal to be just them and have no paparazzi around.

Student and staff at Walkersville were shocked about the news and how amazing it is to hear that Prince Harry is now engaged to Markle.

Sophomore Megan Sham started off, “I’m very happy for them and I feel like Prince Harry really likes her. They’re cute together.”

Senior Marley Angel said, “She is really lucky and he really cares about her.” Freshman Karly Rutherford adds to Angel, “She is so lucky and she can be a princess and live in a castle now.”

Junior Emily Jenkins added, “He is so cute, and he should treat her right, like a princess.”

Sophomore Tamiya Philip commented, “She is so pretty and he is so hot — man I wish was her.”

Junior Bella Canto says, “He is so hot, and she is so lucky to have a prince as a husband.”

Sophomore Jackie Montano said, “She is so pretty and she is very lucky to be engaged with a prince.”

Senior Maria Cruz added, “He is a good guy, he chose the right girl, and she is so so lucky.”

Prince Harry and Markle seem happy to be together. Wishing them the best luck on their continued journey together.
