Eikaiva Boyer, the Editor In Chief of the Lion’s Pride, is a senior at Walkersville High School and is involved in many activities outside her school schedule. She is a member of National Honor Society and NSHSS, a volunteer at Frederick County Animal Shelter, Humane Society, Peta2, the Walkersville Library, and the Heartly House. Two years ago, she was a student intern for the Frederick News Post and wrote two articles which were published in the FNP. In the summer of 2016, she collected over 5,000 period products through her community for homeless women and children. Fall of 2018 Eikaiva will be attending Chatham University for a double major in Psychology and Criminology, eventually advancing her degree as a Ph.D in Crim.
